Jazz in the Alley is held the 3rd weekend of July 
during the Sequim Lavender Festival.

This year's event will be July 17 & 18, 2009
6:30-9:00 p.m.

Jazz in the Alley was developed in 2007 by local jazz musician, Tracy Blume along with Sequim downtown merchants, Jean Haught and Rick and Debra Roberts with the full support of the Sequim Lavender Festival and the Sequim Chamber of Commerce to promote live music, our local businesses and our beautiful downtown.

Jazz In The Alley brings throngs of people who are in Sequim during the Lavender Festival to the downtown area after the street fair and the farms have closed for a magical evening of good music, good food and the chance to shop till you drop!

With each year this event grows! Featuring the local talents of groups like Jazz in Blume who play your favorites from the Great American Songbook with fun and flair to the talented Jenny Davis singing straight ahead jazz, No Inhibitions with their lively Dixieland style and The Just Friends Trio with classic and Eurpean fusion style instrumental jazz, there is a jazz style for every music enthusiast.

Look for 2009 to be the best year ever with more musicians and more to offer you as you walk the main drag of Sequim for a "taste of the town"! Delicious cuisine will be offered at each musical venue and the quaint shops of Sequim's downtown will stay open after hours so you can find that perfect gift or treasure to remember your visit to the fabulous Olympic Peninsula.

So start planning now, you won't want to miss the Lavender Festival and after a wonderful day of visiting the Lavender Farms and the Street Fair, plan to join us for Jazz in the Alley where you can sit, relax and enjoy the music with a glass of wine and good food or take advantage of the multiple venues to sight-see and shop!

Once again, we'll have shuttle service for those who may not wish to walk to each venue so if you wore yourself out at the Lavender Festival, no worries!
